Please consider the following if purchasing this sauna for oudoor placement:
The Basic Series is best used for warm areas. In ambient temperature is below 60, the sauna will take longer to pre-heat and might not get as hot.
Indoor placement is when the sauna will be inside and not exposed to the elements.
Outdoor placement is when the sauna will be placed outside. The sauna will be re-finished for an outdoor protection. You can choose from the following:
- Under a Covered Roof: If the sauna will be completely covered. For example, under a covered patio or inside a gazebo. The sauna roof cannot be exposed to water and the roof must be at least 20" wider and deeper than the sauna.
- Include an Outdoor Canopy: If the sauna is not covered, you can purchase a canopy to cover it. These canopies are custom made and on avarage they are around 20" wider and deeper than the sauna (10" on each side). This option is best for areas with light rain or snow.
- Add Side Walls to the Canopy: If the sauna will go in an area with heavy or directional rain or heavy snow, this option is the best. It addes extra walls to the canopy to protect the sauna from rain and snow. It also will help the sauna slightly maintain its temperature in very cold areas.
The canopies frame is made out of steel and the roof and sides is made out of vinyl in Tan color. Custom colors are avaliable. Please allow two to three weeks for custom colors (click on the button below for color options).
Please note: The outdoor placement sauna warranty is one year on the body and lifetime on electrical parts and heaters. The sauna must be covered from rain or water because water damage is not covered under warranty.
