What is the difference between Padma 28 and Padma Basic®?
This formula is known as Padma 28 in some parts of Europe and Padma Basic® here in North America. The single difference between Padma Basic® and Padma 28® is one ingredient, aconite, of which Padma 28 contains 1mg in the 403mg formula/capsule. In the USA, the ingredient aconite is considered a poison restricted, and non-homeopathic formulas containing this ingredient are prohibited. Based on research conducted by Padma AG in Switzerland, the action of both formulas appears to be identical.*
What does the warning which appears on the Padma Basic® packaging mean?
Padma Basic® is labeled with a Prop 65 warning due to naturally occurring, trace amounts of lead found in the herbs in the formula. This warning is required only in California. No Lead is added to the Padma Basic. The trace amounts found in this formula occur due to the bio-accumulation in the herb's foliage during the growing process. (Padma Basic® contains approximately .05 parts per million, just above the detectable limit.)*
What does Padma Basic® contain?
