1) Who developed Flextasy and what credentials does he have?
Flextasy was
developed by me, Blue Dunn: Massage Therapist, Holistic Health
Practitioner, Evolution Therapist, Inventor, Innovator,
Entrepreneur, a Spiritual Being having a human experience. My fields of expertise include body mechanics, balance, flexibility
and the use of self-maintenance tools. I gained my experience through the practice of hands-on structural
release realignment therapy (Evolution), since 1984;
teaching and performing tightrope and tight-wire walking,
since 1984; and teaching movement reorientation (flexibility)
classes here in the United States and in Europe, since 1991.
*Teaching
myself all of the skills necessary to perform on a rope or
a wire, combined with the hands-on experience of restructuring
bodies evidencing every manner of distortion (Evolution),added
to the expertise gained from watching and guiding thousands
of students from all ages and walks of life with mis-aligned
bodies in every conceivable pattern, through the Flextasy! routine.
has resulted in an extraordinary, unparalleled awareness
of skeletal body mechanics and soft tissue disorganization
(and how to remedy it!).
From the varied areas
of my fields of expertise, I bring to my students
and the public, unique skills, insights, and concepts unequaled
in the health and fitness field.

Originator
of Flextasy! the Functional Flexibility System.
Since 1991
I have been teaching variations of Flextasy!
to my personal clients, massage therapists in training at
numerous massage schools in San Diego, and to people from
all walks of life at two Sharp Hospital Centers (see teaching
resume). During this time I have had the opportunity to study
thousands of random bodies, in every stage of distortion and
chronic pain, attempting to get out of pain and become more
flexible. The just issued Flextasy! video is
the remarkable result of this extensive research.
Tightrope
/ Tight-wire Artist and Instructor *(click
here for pictures!)
As an accomplished tightrope and tight-wire artist (17 years),
I have been instrumental in assisting students wishing to
utilize the medium of Balance as a powerful catalyst for lifetime
change.
I
am currently finishing the book on Flextasy! which includes detailed
descriptions on the movements and their purpose. This is a
book for the layperson and contains over 20 enlightening essays
on how your body got to be the way it is, the mystery of the
soft tissue, the fascial web, understanding your pain cycle,
tension and stress, exercise physiology reexamined, and much
more.
I
am working on Flextasy! Lite!, a modified version of
the original Flextasy! routine specifically developed for seniors (or the flexibly
challenged of any age). This routine was developed over
the last 3 years in my flexibility classes for seniors at
the Coronado Sharp Hospital Motion Center.
Evolution
Health and Fitness was founded in an effort to make available to the general population time-proven
empowering information, tools, and techniques whereby they
may take control of their health and well-being. Being a victim
of the medical profession in his early 20's, Blue understands
very well the need to explore natural, (so-called) alternative
methods to effect positive change (healing) and not simply
address the symptoms of pain and dis-ease with surgery and/or
drugs, the two pillars of misguided western allopathic medicine.
His goal is to create a positive change in this world, by
empowering one person at a time, with his logical, common
sense approach to bringing the body and all aspects of the
self back into balance.
