
OmGym safety guidelines
- Always consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise program.
- Wait at least 2 hours after eating before performing inversion or exercise.
- Wait at least 15 minutes after consuming liquids before performing inversion.
- Do not use while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Do not invert while using anti-coagulants or Advil.
- Always warm up for 5-10 minutes with gentle repetitive movement before exercising (trampoline, hula hoop, jog, etc).
- Stay warm throughout the duration of your OmGym session.
- Start slowly and easily. New movement is to be practiced with extra care.
- Use awareness and proper form with each movement.
- Always listen to and honor your body's needs. Disengage from any painful movement. Be cautious of overstretching.
- Remember to breathe in all positions or routines. Do not hold your breath.
- Make sure hooks are placed properly over knots, between the two lines of knottted rope, after each adjustment.
- Do not wrap the stirrups or straps around your neck.
- Have another adult with you for your first time inverting.
- Children should always be supervised by an adult.
- Do not sleep while inverting.
- Return upright very slowly after inversion.
- Always take a few minutes to rest after inversion. We recommend laying down in Savasana (a restful meditation).
- Drink water afterwards and stay hydrated to maximize the effectiveness.
- If you have been diagnosed with, or are experiencing, the symptoms of any of the following conditions, do not invert without your doctor's approval.
- Recent surgery or trauma to any internal organs
- Broken or fractured bones in the hip/torso area
- Ear, eye, sinus or infections in the head
- Recent head/brain injury or trauma
- Heart and/or circulatory disorders
- Severe spinal cord trauma
- Fused vertebrae
- Menstration
- Pregnancy
- Hernia
- Use only as directed.

Wash instructions: Machine wash cold, separately. Hooks can remain on fabric throughout wash cycle. Line dry. Do not bleach.
