Why Buy a Reboundair rebounder

There are three main reasons why you should buy a Reboundair over the Needak or Urban Rebounder.

1) Reboundair Lifetime Warranty

Reboundair has the best warranty in the industry.

All-Component Lifetime Warranty: The entire rebounder is covered under Reboundair's workmanship and material quality plan, included with each rebounder purchase.

Reboundair also has Free Wear and Tear Replacements: Regular, high-intensity use of your rebounder may result in the need for eventual replacement of such components as springs or the mat. This “reasonable wear” is not considered a defect in workmanship or materials, but for such cases, we are happy to replace up to a full set of springs (36) and one (1) mat for FREE during the long life of your rebounder.

Urban Rebounder's warranty is

Frame: 5 years
All other parts: 1 year

Needak's warranty is

2 years on the springs, leg tips, and spring cover.  5 years on the mat, cleats and spring pins.  Lifetime only on the frame.

2) Quality of Reboundair Rebounders

Reboundair uses a permatron mat with 36 high caliber springs,23 coils per spring. This allows for even distribution of stress, uniform shape, and no weak bends in the shape of the spring.
The frame paint is a baked on enamel coat. The spring cover is leather-like, superior thickness with a superior appearance.
The hinges are continuous with frame, internally bolted, small hinge radius, new round design and very safe.
Industrial Permatron bond stitch rows. 9 rows of circumference stitching.
New "X within the Box" pattern over top of stitch rows, preventing the possibility of mat circumference "sliding out" over time which creates a chronic sag in competitor mat designs.

Needak:
While Needak uses a permatron mat their 36 springs have only 20 coils per spring. This causes a sharp bend at the ends creating weak points in shape. Needak's hinges are an outdated design. Their hinges are externally welded. The hinges are bulky, jaw-like, may injure fingers, commonly pinches carpet or tears spring cover. Needak's spring cover is plastic-like, thin nylon and tears are common. The frame paint is spray painted on.

Urban Rebounder:
The Urban rebounder also has a Needak-type, externally welded hinge. Outdated jaw design from the mid 80's. There is a decrease in resilience as the mat began to sag around the stitch perimeter and after the 36 springs slightly stretched over time.Springs could not return to "original conformation", or shape & coil tightness after 10 to 14 days. The frame paint is spray painted on.

3) Superior Bounce of the Reboundair Rebounders

Reboundair has a High resilience, responsive, and has just the right amount of softness in the rebound-reaction while jumping, jogging and following the latest Rebound Aerobics routines. ("dynamic weight-and-loading accommodation at a 3 G-Force)

At the same time, there is perfect firmness while stepping onto or simply standing on the Reboundair mat. ("static weight-and-loading accommodation at 1 G")

Needak:
While there is a responsive bounce on the Needak, the ideal balance between dynamic resilience and static firmness is yet to be achieved

Urban Rebounder:
Excellent first impression on the Urban jumping surface. However there is a decrease in resilience as the mat began to sag around the stitch perimeter and after the 36 springs slightly stretched over time. In addition, springs could not return to "original conformation", or shape & coil tightness after 10 to 14 days.

To summarize you get what you pay for. The urban rebounder may be lower in cost but the trade off is a lower quality rebounder with a not so great warranty. Nothing comes close to the quality of a ReboundAir rebounder and no one can match their warranty.

Plus, Al Carter and Reboundair are always researching and improving upon their rebounders.
